Chris Brown

Director of Instruction

Originally raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Chris Brown began playing the game of golf with his father when he was 10. While Chris excelled at other sports throughout his life, it was the dynamic unpredictability of golf that eventually consumed Chris's energy and direction.

Chris attended The Boston Architectural Center, which is a small college that specializes in architectural studies.  During this six-year process, Chris's love of the game compelled him to continue his education with golf as the primary focus. That road led Chris to two more years of education at the San Diego Golf Academy, Orlando campus as well as the PGA of America's Professional Golf Management Program.

Having competed in several mini-tour events in the Orlando area, Chris began to realize a love for teaching to be his truest passion.  Prior to joining MBGA, Chris worked for Dubsdread Golf Course where he held the position of Director of Instruction; Chris was instrumental in the development and implementation of all facets of their instructional programs.  His keen understanding of the 'cause and effect' relationship of the golf swing coupled with his ability to teach both young and old has made him a versatile golf instructor.

In a continuing effort to grow and become a better teacher of the game of golf, Chris was given the opportunity to learn from one of the premiere teachers in the world, Mike Bender. Chris jumped at the prospect, and is in the process of completing Mike's certification process. Chris looks forward to sharing his knowledge and helping you with your game.
